De Libera (2025) follows two amateur football teams in Amsterdam and Brussels. The work explores tactical, emotional and social sides of the game through moments of action and rest. The series reflects both the physical presence and quiet intensity of grassroots women’s football. Like the classic libero who moves freely across the pitch, the players in this series take control of space and shape the flow of the game. The project was shot between January and May 2025.
